The second project of esprit de perspicacitas is complete. I am in business for filming and editing events such as piano recitals (or other recitals too!). This one took a while to edit because I left the country for over a month, but beyond that interlude, it wasn’t too bad.

Well, folks, it’s done. Rendered. Saved. Totally done. I’m pretty pleased with it. Sure, there are things I’d rather have been able to do a little differently, but you can’t win all the time.
Unfortunately it hasn’t been transferred to YouTube yet, so I can’t post it. It’s too big a file for regular movie posting. If you want to see it, contact me, and I’ll let you borrow a copy of the DVD. 
Or you could buy a copy. Then the company would really be official…let me know.

The third complete project of esprit de perspicacitas has been finished. Filmed. Edited. Rendered. Burned onto DVD.
A group of singles formed a team for the 4th annual video challenge at Brookside Baptist Church. I had the opportunity to play main cameraman and chief editor. The story line: a secret society under attack by opposing forces must find a file previously hidden by the society’s founder. That file provides the information necessary to save the society and preserve it for generations to come. An unsuspecting agent holds the key to finding this file, and one man must risk it all to save the society … and the woman he loves.

Humility of Heart

So I finished the first official production of esprit de perspicacitas films. Still in it’s unrendered state at the moment, but soon…soon, it will be available for <somewhat> public viewing.
Humility of Heart is a short narrative tracing the interactions of one Harry and Merry. The purpose: plead for an esprit de perspicacitas in guy-girl interactions.
Lessons learned:
- happy accidents happen more often than you think
- you may think you’ve already learned a lesson, but you may be surprised when it comes around again
- guys aren’t the only ones who need to exhibit an attitude of “in honor preferring one another”
- I love editing
- filming something organically can communicate a delicate issue with grace

Esprit de Perspicacitas is a production company dedicated to providing a spirit of discernment to a world brimming with truth mixed with fallacy, lust confused with love, fidelity in tension with perfidy.
This is a collection of thoughts toward which the believer must show discretion. Not the thoughts themselves, but the issues raised by them and the questions that will inevitably spring forth.
